ASOS Sale ReBoot!

This is a selection of my favourite items from the Sale Top 50 on ASOS.com:

ASOS Dress with Pleated Skater Skirt - £15 - x
Skater dresses are one of my favourite kind of casual dresses, they're so flattering with the tight tops and the flared hem, I also love the colour grey as it goes with pretty much every colour. I love wearing grey especially with a flash of a bright colour! This dress is an absolute bargain at £15, reduced from £25. Unfortunately though, the size 6 and 18s have all sold out, and I expect the other sizes will too! The 3/4 length arm sleeves are perfect for people with long arms like me, and the jersey fabric is very comfortable to wear. This dress would be great to layer with scarves and a chunky cardigan.

ASOS Bodycon Dress with Fluro Piping - £17.50 - x
This dress is very Sports Luxe, which is a big trend for the upcoming seasons. The fluro piping subtly adds a neon twist to this otherwise plain bodycon shift dress. The dress can also come in a navy/orange colour, but I prefer this colour way. This would look great with some thick soled trainers, such as the ones I blogged about from TopShop earlier!

ASOS Print Dress with Dipped Hem - £17.50 - x
Ok, yet again another dress but I believe dresses are so versatile for every month - in winter pair them with thick tights, cardigans and chunky boots, and in summer swap these for bare legs, accessories and sandals! Leopard print is one of my favourite prints, after hating it for years I was finally swayed a few months ago! I love how small the print is, making it look less tacky and more feminine! The dipped hem gives the dress an extra edge.

ASOS Aran Cable Cardigan - £20 - x
As a complete knitting addict, I absolutely love this cardigan! The tobacco coloured version is £20, but the cream is £40! I prefer the colour of the tobacco one anyway. Aran cable knits are a classic knit, and pretty much timeless! I think £20 is a great price, as if I were to hand knit this myself it would cost that much just for the yarn to be able to do it! However, the only sizes left at this time are UK 12, 14 and 16.

Spring Accessories: TopShop

Here is just a very small selection of accessories from topshop.com, that I think will look perfect in the Spring months!

Keyhole Small Round Sunglasses - x
I saw these sunglasses instore, and didn't think I'd like them. Surprisingly, they looked really good and I love a quirky pair of sunglasses! Pastels are going to be big this S/S so obviously these also fit the trend! £16, which is a good price for a pair of sunglasses and TopShop's always seem to be a good quality! To me, anyway!

Camel Felt Floppy Hat
Hats are a must have this S/S, obviously they are very practical as they keep the sun off your head/face BUT they are also a massive fashion statement that some people feel they can't pull off! Sometimes the perfect accent to a simple outfit can be a hat, and this camel floppy hat would be perfect with a maxi skirt and a blouse! £25 isn't too expensive for a hat this nice, as obviously it is a high street brand!

Pink Frost Plastic Backpack - x
My grandma bought me a tiny leather backpack for Christmas '10, and I loved it, but my sister thought it was old fashioned and not very fashionable. My grandma must be able to predict trends because backpacks are now very much in! I love the plastic twist on this and the colour is so pretty, a pink that isn't too Barbie-ish and in your face! This bag is £25.

Nude Colour Drench Holdall - x
This bag is available in other pastel colours, such as pink and mint, which is amazing - I wouldn't know which colour to choose! I have used so many cheap Primark holdalls, which have all eventually had the handles snap due to them not being able to carry as much weight as I'd like them to! Maybe I need to go up a level and buy a slightly more expensive holdall! This is £36 which I feel is a good price for a cute holdall!

Green Enamel Segment Ring - x
I immediately fell in love with this green and gold ring, the shade of green is my favourite colour ever! I love the combination of the green and the gold and as previously mentioned, pastels are big this season! It is priced at £10, and I will be making a purchase!

Gold Egyptian Triangle Ring
I loveeeee this ring! I love the shape of the triangle, and the deep blue stone in the centre. It reminds me of Glastonbury festival, for some reason and therefore very appropriate for the festival season! Triangle shapes are also very fashionable right now. This ring is less expensive than the other, priced at £7.50.

Pink KOOK Contrast EVA Sole Shoes - x
I need to buy these shoes. Now. I love shoes with a thicker sole (Flatforms), and need a pair in my life. I also love the range of pastel colours these shoes come in. They're real leather and this is reflected in the £60 price tag, which is not ideal but if you've been looking for the perfect casual shoe, these may be the pair for you!

Horizontal Kite Necklace - x
This necklace is so cute, how could anybody resist?! Kites are a lovely past time during the spring/summer months, especially at the beach! This necklace is priced at £8.50!

I hope you liked my selection of spring accessories from TopShop, I'll try to do these more often for more shops :)

Bargain: French Connection Skinny Jeans

Yesterday I ordered four pairs of French Connection's Jessica stretch skinny jeans; four because I liked both colours (officer blue, and winter day - a taupe/light brown) and couldn't decide which size would fit me better! I do intend to send two pairs back. I'd noticed these in a magazine recently and were advertised at around £70, but when I went on to their website I was amazed to see they were in the sale for £28! Bargain, considering I was intending to buy them at £70.

I love the pockets and the quilting detail on the knees. They're being delivered tomorrow so I shall post some pictures of them on. :)

Edit: These jeans were delivered and the fit was so unflattering - tight around the waist but really baggy around the thighs/calves, and the length was awkward. They're meant to be ankle grazers but they looked like they'd just shrunk in the wash!
